Common name: “false peyote”

These spineless Cactaceae plants are native to Mexico from the region of Querétaro (area of 300 km2).

Mature plants can grow up to 7 cm in height to 14 cm in diameter with white flowers  of ~ 3 cm.

Ribs: not well defined; 5 when young / up to 13 when mature.
