Common name: “little nipple cactus”

These small pincushion Cactaceae plants are native to the southwestern U.S.A.  and Mexico (Chihuahua).

Mature plants can grow up to 5 cm in height to 12 cm in diameter with yellow flowers  of ~ 2 cm.
